Review COSRX Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion (with Birch Sap)

Assalammualaikum and hi guys.

Regarding this post, I told you that I bought COSRX Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion (with Birch Sap) since I wanted to try this product for such a longgggg  time. Finally, after a month (maybe?), I have a chance to write a review about this product.

Not further ado, let's check it out!

Review COSRX Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion (with Birch Sap)

FYI information I'm a sucker for a moisturizer. I really really love moisturizer hence that's why I always try and try new moisturizer. Since I'm an oily skin person I need to find a lightweight but it still gives me hydration.

So, lots of people raved about this product said it is good for oily skin blah blah blah. Being me, I told myself I need to try COSRX Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion (with Birch Sap)

Okay, let's talk about packing. It comes in a box and has a simple design. All COSRX products have a simple design, a minimalistic feeling which is I like. COSRX Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion (with Birch Sap) comes in a pump, that's mean it is very hygienic.

I don't like product come in a tub or whatever you call because you need to dip your fingers into the actual product like this product.

Next, is the ingredients. COSRX products have simple ingredients yet it still effective. For COSRX Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion (with Birch Sap) even it is said oil-free but it is not.

Betula Platyphylla Japonica Juice, Butylene Glycol, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Betaine, Cetearyl Alcohol, 1,2-Hexanediol, Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Hydroxyethyl Acrylate/Sodium Acryloyldimethyl Taurate Copolymer, Ethylhexylglycerin, Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Peel Oil, Allantoin, Panthenol, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Lactate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Ethyl Hexanediol, Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree) Leaf Oil (credits)

As I know, there're some people who sensitive to oil. So, if you can't tolerate tea tree leaf oil and lemon peel oil I suggest you avoid this product unless you do a patch test and the result shows a positive reaction.

Okie dokie, now let's talk about my experiences and my thoughts about this product. Yes, it does moisturise my skin and make it less oily. I really love how fast it absorbs into my skin. Like really fast, so I can continue to my next skincare quickly. Also, it does not leave sticky or greasy feeling after using this product.

I use COSRX Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion (with Birch Sap) every morning and night. Only 2 pumps, it can cover my entire face. What I notice about this product, it also very long-lasting.

Let's take an example. I apply this in the morning (7.15 am'ish) and around 3-4 pm my skin still not oily. Yeah, I currently work in an air-conditioned environment, so yeah, it may be contributing to why my skin did not oily very much.

Butttt when I wash my face, I can feel the product came off. It feels like the product sinking into your skin also on top of your skin. My explanation kinda weird, but I hope you understand what I'm trying to say.

COSRX Oil-Free Ultra-Moisturizing Lotion (with Birch Sap)'s texture is very lightweight and suitable for oily skin. I also really love the smell of it. Very subtle and calm. The smell is not like strong smell, but it is the smell of the actual ingredients. (I'm sure about this, but I feel like, it smell like natural)

I also noticed when I use this for a month, my skin looks brighter and it rid off the dullness, which is I amazed. It is not like 100%, but I can see slightly different on my skin. It also calms your skin too.

So, where you can get this product if you living in Malaysia?
Well of course you can get it at Hermo, Althea or Shoppee.

Rating: 4/5

Less 1 mark because of the price. It is hella expensive. So my advice, buy it when there's a sale.

*UPDATE: You guys can buy it on TikTok which if you buy it for the first time customer, you will get almost RM20 off. I bought it for a second time in this TikTok Shop. You guys can buy it here

Toodles!
